WestJet this week set two records for guests flown in a single day. On Wednesday, December 20, the airline flew just over 75,000 guests, while today the airline will fly an estimated 80,000 guests across its network. Both days surpass the previous record of 74,600 set on December 23, 2016.

“We are very proud to have Canadians choose WestJet for their holiday travel,” said Ed Sims, WestJet Executive Vice-President, Commercial. “On behalf of more than 13,000 WestJetters, we would like to thank our guests for choosing to fly with us throughout the year, and we extend our best wishes for a safe and happy holiday season.”
