The financial and route partnership between Air Austral and Air Madagascar, which was cemented when the Reunion based French airline became a 49 percent shareholder in the Malagasy national airline, has now seen further activities unfold.
A new joint loyalty card program, also incorporating Madagascar’s Tsaradia and Mayotte’s EWA Air, is now being rolled out and replaces the former Namako program by Air Madagascar under the name of ‘My Capricorn‘.

The two airlines offer an unrivalled network of connections between Reunion, Madagascar, Mayotte, the Comoros, Seychelles and Mauritius, to South Africa but also serve routes to Europe, India, Thailand, China and Australia, at times in code-shared operations.
