Today’s new service is another example of Alaska’s focus on enhancing the travel experience for those who live and work in our region.”
New commercial air service at Paine Field is expected to save time and money for the more than one million travelers who live in North Puget Sound. They’ll enjoy shorter commutes between Paine Field and their homes and businesses, easing traffic congestion and adding personal and productivity time.
The new Paine Field service is part of Alaska’s strategic growth plan at SJC, a focus city for the airline. Alaska is SJC’s second-largest carrier with up to 46 nonstop departures daily, as of summer 2019, to these 20 cities: Austin, Boise, Burbank, Cabo San Lucas, Dallas-Love Field, Everett/Seattle area, Guadalajara, Honolulu-Oahu, Kahului-Maui, Kona-Hawaii, Lihue-Kauai, Los Angeles, Newark, New York-JFK, Orange County/Santa Ana, Portland, Reno, San Diego, Seattle and Tucson.
