From Beijing to Tijuana will be a nonstop for Chinese Hainan Airlines. Avoiding expensive and difficult additional traffic permissions for the U.S., passengers will be able to fly to the Mexican / US border town, 10 minutes drive from San Diego.
It also avoids for Mexicans, Chinese or other international travelers to obtain a difficult US Visa when flying to Mexico and beyond in Central America or to the Caribbean.
Hainan Airlines on Saturday filed an operational schedule for its planned service to Mexico, set for March 2018 debut.
The airline plans to operate Beijing – Tijuana – Mexico City service 3 times a week, on board Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
Reservation will be available in all class of service in the next few days. First flight is scheduled on March 21, however, the following schedule is effective from 25MAR18, reflecting IATA traffic season changes.
