A dedicated airline partner of Western Denmark’s largest gateway for many years, Billund confirms that airBaltic will increase the number of flights it operates to Riga for S19, giving passengers even more opportunities to travel to the Latvian capital and beyond through the airline’s network of over 70 destinations throughout Europe, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.

The news from airBaltic follows on the recent announcement that Wizz Air will advance its route offering to Eastern Europe from Billund next year, confirming that from 2 March it will add a twice-weekly service from Kiev Zhulyany. With this expansion, on top of airBaltic’s frequency increase, the number of weekly flights from Billund to Eastern Europe will grow by close to 20% in S19.
