This fall, British Airways will be offering 38 direct flights per week to Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg, the airline’s largest schedule ever to South Africa, when the airline launches its thrice weekly flights between London and Durban on 29th October.
In addition to the new route, British Airways is also adding four more flights per week to its existing double-daily London Heathrow to Johannesburg schedule on 28th October.
Operated by its newest aircraft, the Boeing 787-800 Dreamliner, the new flights will run alongside the existing 14 weekly A380 services, bringing the total frequency to 18 a week.
Furthermore, British Airways will again increase its Cape Town schedule over the South African summer to provide double-daily flights from London Heathrow as well as three weekly flights between Gatwick and Cape Town.
