Cyprus’ Cobalt Air revealed a new twice-weekly service beginning 3 May, linking Düsseldorf directly with its main base in Larnaca. The planned schedule will see the 2,813-kilometre sector operate on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Andrew Madar, CEO, Cobalt Air commented:
“We are proud to add Düsseldorf to our ever-growing network of services across Europe and the Middle East. Germany is an important market for us, both in terms of leisure travelers and those flying on business. This route perfectly complements our existing service to Frankfurt, which launched last year. The Cypriot people have swiftly adopted Cobalt Air as their preferred airline. Our dedicated crew work hard to give our guests a little taste of Cyprus for the short time they are on board with us. So whether you travelling for business or pleasure to Düsseldorf, you are assured of a warm welcome.”
The flying schedule to Düsseldorf is timed to appeal to both business and leisure passengers (see below for details). Cobalt Air will use an A320 aircraft with 12 seats in business class and 144 seats in economy class to operate the new route.
