GOL airline and Delta phase out codeshare
Low-cost Brazilian airline GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes S.A. has issued a statement saying that the phase out of the codeshare and investment in its non-voting shares it had with Delta Air Lines is not expected to have a significant financial impact to GOL airline.
The codeshare relationship which began in 2011 today provided approximately 0.3% of GOL’s total revenues.
GOL airline has had a strong year with passenger revenue up 37.9% year-over-year in 2Q19.
During the transition period, GOL will work with Delta to ensure a seamless experience for customers.
