The European Commission approves the acquisition of Lufthansa and ITA Airways.

Through a money boost of 325 million dollars, Lufthansa will get a 41 % stake in ITA Airways from MEF, and will increase it to 100 % by 2033, for a complete investment of 829 million dollars.
