Turkish Airlines flight from Moscow to Istanbul had to return to Moscow’s Vnukovo International Airport because of a rowdy drunk passenger on board.
According to the airline’s representative, the man “bothered other passengers and created a situation dangerous for the flight to continue” and the plane’s captain has made a decision to return to the departure airport.
Upon landing at Vnukovo, the passenger was escorted off the plane. The airline announced that the plane would fly to its destination later on the same day.
The day before, the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that starting on October 4, “air police” will work on all international flights of Turkish Airlines.
