Vietjet, the modern airline of Vietnam, has confirmed its order for 19 more GTF-powered A321neo planes. Pratt & Whitney, the engine manufacturer, will also support Vietjet with comprehensive engine maintenance under an EngineWise Comprehensive service agreement. The signing ceremony between the two companies took place at the Singapore Airshow.

Vietjet acquired its inaugural A321neo airplane in 2018 and presently manages a collection of 24 A321neo aircraft equipped with GTF engines. In addition to their existing purchases, Vietjet has pledged to procure a maximum of 87 aircraft of the same model.
Vietjet is continuously enlarging its flight network to cater to passengers across various intercontinental destinations, including but not limited to Vietnam, Australia, India, China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, and Thailand.
