Where is the best airport lounge in North America?

Where is the best airport lounge? It’s certainly not in North America, but among the lounges in the United States and Canada, it’s this lounge in Canada standing out.

According to Priority Pass this year the best lounge is the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) VIP lounge in Canada. This airport lounge was voted Lounge of the Year in North America, all categories combined, by Priority Pass program members.

The award recognizes excellence in the services provided by VIP lounges in the Priority Pass network and their efforts to ensure a high-quality passenger experience. This year more than 72,000 votes were compiled to designate winners of the 13th Priority Pass Lounge of the Year Awards. Priority Pass currently has a network of over 1,000 airport lounges in more than 500 cities and is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

“Again this year, our airport is among the best thanks to the quality of its passenger experience aligned with our vision of making YQB a world-class airport,” said Gaëtan Gagné, president and CEO of Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport. “It’s a real honor to be recognized as the best VIP lounge in North America. It shows we were right to put the Passenger first.”

Thanks to the central fireplace, free massage chair, and relaxing and luxurious atmosphere of the VIP lounge operated by the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport, travelers feel right at home. YQB’s VIP lounge received the same distinction in 2015 for the superior comfort it affords clients. The lounge is available to Priority Pass members, airline loyalty program members, and holders of certain credit cards. It is also open to others for an admission fee.

Aéroport de Québec inc. is the privately held company that has been responsible for the management, operation, maintenance, and development of the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) since November 1, 2000. Some dozen airlines offer multiple routes to destinations in North America, Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe, with daily service to major hubs in northeastern North America.
