As Hurricane Lane marches past the Hawaiian islands, airlines are waiving fees for travelers to make changes to their flights plans.
Here is information on the major airlines to the islands. For all other airlines, visitors must contact their airline.

Original travel dates: August 21, 2018 through August 26, 2018
Waiver: Must be rebooked on or before August 21, 2018. Changes must be rebooked and ticketed to new flights no later than September 9, 2018, and new travel must commence no later than September 9, 2018.

Original travel dates: August 21, 2018 – August 26, 2018
Waiver: The change fee and any difference in fare will be waived for new United flights departing between August 21, 2018, and September 9, 2018, as long as travel is rescheduled in the originally ticketed cabin (any fare class) and between the same cities as originally ticketed. For wholly rescheduled travel departing after September 9, 2018, or for a change in departure or destination city, the change fee will be waived, but a difference in fare may apply. Rescheduled travel must be completed within one year from the date when the ticket was issued.
