Frankfurt airport grounds all flights after drone sighting

Frankfurt am Main Airport (Frankfurt Airport), the largest airport in Europe, had to halt all incoming and outgoing flights after the drone that was sighted over the southern part of the airport.

Airport shutdown lasted for about 30 minutes. This time was taken by law enforcement and airport security to identify the aerial target. Half an hour later, all airport operations were back to normal, per official airport account on Twitter. The police did not comment on the incident and did not tell about the results of the inspection.
