Qatar Airways will start operating the newly constructed Manohar International Airport ( GOX ) in the North Goa district, which will take the place of the current Dabolim Airport in South Goan, India, as of June 20, 2024. Following the current deadline, the airline may provide daily direct flights on a combination of Airbus 320 and Boeing 787 plane.
Qatar Airways is joining the list of carriers that GOX, which includes proper friends like IndiGo and Oman Air, will cater to. The future airport aims to give passengers a better experience thanks to its cutting-edge amenities and convenient location close to hotels and public transportation.
In 2009, Qatar Airways started operating in Goa, kicking off the long-term partnership between Doha and the city. Passengers flying with Qatar Airways will have an easier aircraft journey to more than 170 sites as a result of the switch from GOI to GETX.
Through its aircraft facilities, which expertly combine modern and Dravidian architectural styles, GOX aims to capture the radiant substance of the local traditions. GOX has the ability to become the main trade hub in the area thanks to its good cargo capacity of 25, 000 metric tonnes and professional temperature-controlled processing capabilities.
Now, Qatar Airways runs flights to 13 Indian towns, including Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Calicut, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Thiruvananthapuram.
