Lebanon has officially reopened René Moawad Airport in Qlayaat as the country’s second civilian airport. The project aims to stimulate tourism, attract low-cost airlines, create jobs in northern Lebanon, and strengthen aviation resilience as the country continues to face economic challenges and ongoing regional security tensions.
