A New Aerotel opened at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 3 Arrivals today. eTN reported about the opening of the Aerotel in the Heathrow Terminal Transit area in April 2018. The concept was a success and now the same concept is available in the arrival section of the terminal.
Guests get charged in intervals of 6-hour, 9-hour, or 12-hours. According to Aerotel marketing, the hotel is ideal for travelers taking an early morning or late night light flight if they are looking for a spot to chill or power nap before boarding their flight.
Aerotel London Heathrow is our answer to travelers’ pain points.” says Song Hoi-see, Founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group.
The concept of Aerotel is not news. Similar hotels had been doing well at major airports around the world, including Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Tokyo Narita, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, and many more cities.
The old fashion concept of charging from 3 pm to 12 noon is attractive for hotels since they can often charge two nights for just a 12-hour stay or get 2 independent guests within 24 hours. It’s not a good and customer-friendly solution for airports. It may be great for hotels since they often can count for two bookings within a 24 hour period.
Charging for 6-hour, 9-hour, 12-hour packages is a welcome and fair alternative
