American Airlines is reiterating its dedication to Saint Lucia by boosting its service to Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) in the summer of 2024. This will involve adding more seats and offering up to two daily flights between Miami International Airport (MIA) and UVF, ensuring a consistent level of service throughout the year.
American Airlines intends to add a second daily flight from MIA to UVF, running from June 5 to September 3, 2024. This extra flight not only reflects the ongoing partnership between the airline and Saint Lucia / UVF but also provides more convenient scheduling options. Furthermore, the aircraft used on the MIA-UVF route will be upgraded from a Boeing 737 (172 seats) to an Airbus A321 (190 seats).
Starting from mid-February to mid-March 2024, there will be an enhancement on the Philadelphia (PHL) to UVF route. Specifically, the aircraft operating on this route will be upgraded from an A-319 with 128 seats to an A-321 with 190 seats.
