More planes are purchased by Vietjet for the Lunar New Year’s go rush.

In order to meet the increased need for travel during the Lunar New Year holiday, Vietjet announced that it had acquired two additional airplane through a wet-lease agreement. In addition to their current fleet of 105 airplane, this brings the total amount of wet-leased plane in their ship to six. Within Vietnam and abroad, Vietjet operates on 125 roads.
To meet the rising demand for traveling during the peak season in Vietnam and the surrounding area, Vietjet has increased its journey offerings by almost 750 further flights, adding an additional 154,800 seats. Vietjet has introduced the Shanghai to Ho Chi Minh City way, connecting these two fascinating places since December 2023, to meet Chinese tourists ‘ needs for their Lunar New Year holiday vacation. Additionally, Vietjet may introduce the brand-new Chengdu to Ho Chi Minh City route on February 10, 2024, the first day of the Lunar New Time, giving travellers from Chengudu a chance to travel to Vietnam and take part in the special celebrations.
The expanded flight power enables Foreign tourists to travel to well-known tourist destinations in Vietnam, such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Phu Quoc, Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Da Lat, which will help them explore the country.
Over the past two decades, Vietjet has taken proactive steps to increase the number of its global flight roads. Notably, the airline has expanded its network to include locations like Shanghai, Vientiane, Siem Reap ( Cambodia ), Busan ( South Korea ), Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide ( Australia ). With this development, Chinese and foreign visitors will have more options for their flower travels.
Vietjet operated 133, 000 planes carrying 25.3 million passengers in 2023, an increase of 183 % year over year, excluding planes to Thailand. Over 7.6 million of these people took international flights. The airline also added 33 new routes to its flight network, bringing the total to 125, including 45 regional and 80 international routes.
