A Boeing-737 passenger plane of Russia’s Pobeda (Victory) low-cost airline has landed at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport with a failed right-hand engine, an airline spokesman told TASS on Saturday.
“The landing was performed and a reserve plane is preparing for its flight at 09:40 Moscow time. The engine’s failure occurred for the first time over the entire period of Pobeda flights,” the spokesman said.
The plane was performing a flight from Moscow to Astrakhan.
According to Astrakhan airport, the reserve airliner is expected to arrive at 12:40 Moscow time.
