The ‘Praia de Santa Maria’ arrived from Boston to the Nelson Mandela Airport in Capem Verde last Friday night carrying 134 passengers on board.
“Praia de Santa Maria”, whose name was chosen by the passengers through a public poll on Facebook, has its name as a homage to one of the natural wonders of Cape Verde that is the well-known beach of Santa Maria in Sal island, current hub of the airline.
Decorated with blue and pastel colors, the new branding is a soft mixture of the beauty of natural elements and the rhythm of the Cape Verdian culture, with the colors of the houses found in the islands.
The color palette of the interior and exterior image of the aircraft shows that change comes from within, in the search to better serve its customers and bring Cape Verde to the world and the world to Cape Verde.
The “Praia de Santa Maria” will have 12 seats in the premium cabin and 180 seats in the main cabin seats are adjustable and comfortable.
With the arrival of the “Praia de Santa Maria”, Cabo Verde Airlines three aircraft 757-200 and plans to receive two more by the end of the year.
The reception of the aircraft is a part of the restructuring of the airline since its privatization was completed on March 1st, 2019.
