Russian Pobeda Airlines distributes globally under Hahn Air Systems’ H1 code

Hahn Air Systems and Pobeda Airlines signed an agreement allowing the Russian low-cost carrier to be distributed under the H1 code in all major GDSs worldwide. Travel agencies worldwide can now issue the Hahn Air Group’s 12th Russian partner on the insolvency-safe Hahn Air ticket using the standard GDS ticketing process.

Pobeda Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aeroflot, is based at Vnukovo International Airport (VKO) in Moscow. Founded in 2014, Pobeda serves 78 destinations across 13 countries in Asia and Europe. Pobeda’s fleet consists of twelve B737-800 aircraft.

“In today’s economy, being able to reach additional markets via indirect distribution is vital for the business performance of an airline. That’s why we’re proud that our H1-Air product helps airlines and tour operators with limited or no GDS presence of their own to distribute worldwide via all major GDSs. Via the H1 code, our partners can reach over 190 markets and thus profit from increased ticket sales through 100,000 travel agencies,” said Alexander Proschka, Head of Hahn Air Systems.
