Simone Schwab Appointed Head of Airline Sales and Customer Services at Fraport AG

FRA/DH – As of April 1, 2018, Simone Schwab will take over as the head of the sales and customer services unit. The focal points of the unit are route development, Frankfurt Airport location marketing, and customer relations for airline and tourism partners.

“I am very much looking forward to the new challenges in an exciting environment here at the most important global air transportation hub in Germany. We will work closely and intensively with our airline and tourism partners for a successful future here at Frankfurt Airport,” Schwab said in a statement.

Ms. Schwab is 52 years old and very familiar with the aviation industry. After graduating with a business administration degree in 1994, she has held various management positions with a special focus on marketing, business development, and digitalization within Fraport AG. In 2007, Ms. Schwab took over as managing director of the Fraport subsidiary Media Frankfurt GmbH, market leader in airport advertising in Germany. There, she was responsible for the extensive digital transformation of the media portfolio at Frankfurt Airport.

Ms. Schwab is succeeding Winfried Hartmann, who has been appointed managing director of the Fraport subsidiary FraSec Fraport Security Services GmbH effective January 2018.
