Air Astana’s FlyArystan Receives Air Operator License

In terms of revenue and fleet size, Air Astana Joint Stock Company, a major international player in Central Asia and the Caucasus, announced that FlyArystan, its low-cost airline brand, has received its Air Operator Certificate ( AOC ) from the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan ( AAK).
The AOC, which was released on April 1, 2024, is the result of a rigorous inspection and examination by the AAK. It demonstrates FlyArystan’s commitment to adhering to international operating standards as well as local aviation laws.
FlyArystan has been conducting business under the Air Astana AOC since its founding in 2019. FlyArystan you optimize its operations more effectively with the help of its low-cost ship model and look for new growth opportunities with the establishment of its own AOC. It is important to point out that FlyArystan is still a wholly-owned company of the Group.
This strategic decision will bring benefits to both the Group and FlyArystan’s users. Establishing a distinct AOC is important for the firm’s improvement and advancement. From an administrative standpoint, it does ensure improved efficiency and visibility with aviation regulators worldwide. Additionally, it will give FlyArystan its distinctive IATA code, facilitating further expansion of international distribution and collaboration with other airlines.
FlyArystan, one of the two aircraft companies owned by the party, has risen to prominence in Kazakhstan since its founding five years ago, according to Peter Foster, CEO of Air Astana Group.
FlyArystan expanded its ships from four to 18 plane in 2023, serving 3.6 million travelers with cheap air travel. In 2024, six more aviation are expected to be delivered.
Foster made it clear that FlyArystan needs to obtain its own controller certificate in order for this growth and functional complexity. This certification may help with the firm’s expansion plans, including potential for global expansion. SOURCE: Air Astana’s FlyArystan Receives Air Operator Certificate BY: eTurboNews | eTN
