Ethiopian Airlines Group, the largest airline team in Africa, inaugurates its Jinka aircraft project, unveiling a new connector and support service properties. Following a great event held today in Jinka, one of the emerging places in the South Ethiopia Regional State, the new state-of-the-art airport switch is now operational.
The two-and-a-half-year project included the construction of a new terminal building with a 3,500 square meter full built-up area, support facility building, and external amenities, including exclusive VIP parking and other amenities.
Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mr. Mesfin Tasew spoke at the opening of the new Jinka Airport, saying,” We are certainly delighted to see the completion of the brand-new Jinka Airport Terminal Building project that has been undergoing construction for the past few years. Ethiopian is a national symbol ship, and Jinka is our most recent addition to Ethiopia’s cutting-edge aircraft infrastructure. The fresh Jinka airports will additionally provide a pleasant journey from or to the city, boosting trade and commerce in the area and beyond. We may continue to invest in the construction and switching of regional airports as a result of our commitment to improving the customer experience.
Jinka Airport Terminal is now equipped with contemporary customer support areas, including withdrawal and VIP lounges, and other amenities that will improve customer knowledge, with an expenditure of more than 8 million Euro for building.
