As of March 9, 2024, Jamaica will welcome new non- stop air service by Frontier Airlines from Cleveland International Airport ( CLE ) in Ohio to Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport ( MBJ). The new airlines will run three times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and are now available for reservation.
” We could n’t be more pleased that Frontier continues to expand the number of gateways from which they provide non- stop service to Jamaica”, said the Hon. Edmund Bartlett, Minister of Tourism, Jamaica. ” The first March support launch from Cleveland is ultimately timed to catch the second half of our top spring season. So, these new flights may simply add to the report- breaking arrivals we are now expecting for the period”.
This will be the sole non- stop services to Jamaica from the Cleveland industry, opening more of the essential Midwestern U. S. market to the destination.
Additionally, this service complements Frontier’s existing services to Jamaica from Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Orlando, Philadelphia and St. Louis, increasing the company’s overall amount of non- quit gateways serving the island to seven.
” It is very comforting to receive this new service from Frontier, a valued flight partner responsible for carrying a considerable number of visitors to our shores and one that has continued to seek out opportunities to travel to Jamaica from several important U. S. places”, said Donovan White, Director of Tourism, Jamaica Tourist Board. ” We look forward to welcoming travellers flying on this new company from Cleveland and continuing to grow visitors to the target”.
