Qatar Airways intends to expand its codeshare agreement to include flights operated by Ireland’s national airline, Aer Lingus ( EI ) and Aer Lingus Regional. This move reinforces Qatar Airways ‘ existing partnership with International Airlines Group ( IAG ) by expanding its codeshare network to cover all IAG carriers, such as British Airways, Iberia, Vueling, and Aer Lingus. This growth strengthens Qatar Airways ‘ standing in the German business even further.
A new codeshare agreement between Qatar Airways and Aer Lingus ( EI ) has been signed, allowing passengers to connect between their flights from Dublin, London, and Manchester. This agreement allows smooth journey between Qatar Airways ‘ extensive network of spots in Ireland and the UK, including Aberdeen, Belfast, Cork, and Glasgow, and Hamad International Airport in Doha, which are both accessible via this relationship.
The development of this new joint venture follows the recent growth of the strategic ally between Qatar Airways, British Airways, and Iberia.
