US- International Air Travel Up 17.1 % in February 2024

According to the latest data just released by the National Travel and Tourism Office (NTTO ), in February 2024, US- worldwide air traffic passenger enplanements totaled 18.434 million– off 17.1 % compared to February 2023, with enplanements reaching 107.0 % of pre- epidemic February 2019 volume.

Non- US resident air customer visitors to the United States from international places totaled:
4.307 million in February 2024, up 19.3 percentage compared to February 2023. ( This represents 92.3 % of pre- pandemic February 2019 volume. )
On a related note, international visitor arrivals totaled 2.253 million in February 2024, the 12th consecutive quarter outside guest visitors exceeded 2.0 million.
February international visitor arrivals reached 86.6 % of prior- pandemic February 2019 level, away from 82.7 % in January 2024.
US resident air customer deviations from the United States to international places totaled:
4.918 million in February 2024, up 15.7 percent compared to February 2023 and exceeding February 2019 level by 25.6 cent.

Europe totaled 3.533 million people, up 9.6 percentage over February 2023, and down just (-5.9 percent ) compared to February 2019. US resident absences were off + 8.1 percentage compared to February 2019, while German citizen arrivals were down -14.5 percentage.
Asia totaled 2.173 million people, up 43.6 percent over February 2023, but down (-21.6 percent ) compared to February 2019.
South/Central America/Caribbean totaled 5.324 million, up 19.5 percentage over February 2023, and 19.1 percentage compared to February 2019.
